Ceramic flooring is the most common type of tile flooring and is predominantly seen in bathrooms and kitchens. Recent trends however are honoring the beauty and elegance of this time tested classic and we are now seeing ceramic tiles being used in other rooms of the house because of their versatility and ability to accent a room’s decoration scheme.

Ceramic tiles have withstood the test of time because of their beauty, elegance and easy maintenance. They traditionally hold up to moisture very well, which is why they were utilized in bathrooms to begin with. As they move out of the bathroom and into more nontraditional areas of the home, people are finding ceramic tile floors to be highly desirable because of their glazed sheen and easy maintenance.
